Mark your calendars for March 1st to 4th at the Taos Center for the Arts in beautiful Taos, New Mexico.
70+ quality short films from around the globe, free panel discussions, networking parties and over 120 visiting International filmmakers are just some of the highlights this year.

Concurrent with our festival this year, We are proud to host the 48 Hour Film Project International Filmapalooza!
The 48 Hour Film Project International Filmapalooza, is bringing over 120 global filmmakers to our fair city. Sixty total cities are represented, from the USA, and such places as Osaka, New South Wales, Dubai, Shanghai, Edinburg, Warsaw, Sao Paulo, Geneva, Seville, Glasgow, Toronto, Tel Aviv, Paris, Rome, Johannesburg, Kaohsiung (China), Hanoi and Bucharest.
Both festivals will culminate Sunday, March 4th in two separate Award Ceremonies at
the T.C.A.

Taos Shortz Film Festival
once again will host amazing free panel discussions
Bryan Konefsky of UNM Albuquerque will again enthrall film fans with his expertise on experimental filmmaking.
Acclaimed NM filmmakers Peter Kershaw and Matthew Page come together to explore the web series phenomenon and offer insights into production models; from funding & writing to marketing & the use of social networking.
Dustin Grella, a New York based animator, will take us through his unique chalkboard animation technique, and set up an animation hotline where recorded messages are turned into playful animation.
